Carolyn's works in water color and oils are well known on the island, both in the form of public decorations as well as exhibits. Maria Holvoe Gouras lives in Lund, Sweden, spending as much time as possible on Santa Maria, where she has a house since 2009. Maria works mainly in oils and exhibits regularly in Sweden. Both artists are strongly influenced by nature and the aspects that create community.
